Jul 01, 1931---Aug 18, 2026

Nancy M. Pullo, 95, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026.
Born July 1, 1931, to Winthrop and Grace Colson in Quincy, MA, Nancy was the youngest of two girls.  She spent her formative years living on the ocean in Winthrop, MA, where she and her sister Betty Ann enjoyed sailing their boat ‘The Hiccup.’ Nancy also enjoyed swimming, snow skiing, and modeling.

After "finishing" school, she worked at a Boston brokerage firm as a receptionist.  She met her husband, Vincent, and was married in 1953. They made their home in Woburn, MA, where they were blessed with four daughters. They built their next home in Manchester, NH where  as a family they enjoyed camping, fishing and road trips.  In 1967, they were transferred to Overland Park, KS.

As well as being a "Domestic Goddess,” she was very involved with the girls school and social activities.  As the girls got older, Nancy worked several part-time retail jobs so she would be up to date on the latest fashions. She had great fashion sense and tried to pass that along to her daughters.  As the girls left home, Nancy worked in doctors offices and was last employed at Queen of the Holy Rosary.  Nancy enjoyed retirement volunteering at SM Medical Center and traveling and cruising the world with Vince.  She loved to entertain.  She was a bit naive, witty, classy, funny, a caring and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

We would like to thank our extended family at SeniorCare Homes, Waveny House, for their loving care and friendship not only to our Mother but to our family as well.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Pullo, beloved daughter Christine, great grandson Gavin, her parents and sister.  She is survived by daughters Lisa Pullo Groves, Betsey Pullo, Susan and Patrick Murphy, seven grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 9:30AM followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:30AM, Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 7023 West 71st Street, Overland Park, KS.

In lieu of flowers, send donation to the Christine Lynn Pullo Memorial Scholarship, St Lawrence Catholic Campus Center, 1631 Crescent Rd, Lawrence, KS, 66044.

I was sorry to hear that you lost your mother. I know it’s a difficult thing to face. I’m sure Nancy is at peace now and not suffering anymore.
