Glen D. Wilcox, 91, of Shawnee, KS, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026.  Visitation will be from 4-6:00 PM on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at the Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia St., Lenexa, KS.  Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, June 25, at the Shawnee United Methodist Church, 10700 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS.  Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Kansas City, KS.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Shawnee United Methodist Church.

Glen was born July 9, 1934, in Harper County, KS to Earl A. and Blanche B. (Bowen) Wilcox.  Glen was one of nine children.  He was a veteran serving in the United States Army Kansas. In 1961 he married Shirley Clark.  Glen was a Civil Engineer for Bibb and Associates, before retiring in 2001.  He was a member of Shawnee United Methodist Church.  Glen was an avid hunter and fisherman.  His greatest joy in life was his family.  He is survived by his wife, Shirley J. Wilcox, daughter Gwen (Craig) Aronson, son Ronald Wilcox, brother Bill Wilcox, sister Bonnie Schroeder, two grandchildren Rachel and Jared, three great grandchildren Brady, Aubrey, Levi and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
