Karl Vincent Weding, 59 of Lenexa, KS, passed away on Saturday, May 9th 2026. Visitation will be at 9:30 A.M., Friday, May 29th followed by a Rosary and Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. at The Catholic Church of the Holy Cross, 8311 W. 93rd St., Overland Park, Ks 66212. Internment will be at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions to The Church of the Holy Cross or Sisters Servants of Mary.
Karl was born August 15, 1966 in Merriam KS to Dieter and Mary Ann (Metzger) Weding. He graduated from Rockhurst High School and Kansas State University. He was the Golf Course Superintendent of Golf Courses in Salem, MO and St Louis, MO. Karl’s Hobbies were his antique VW Bus and working on motor bikes.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1982. Karl was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his mother, Mary Ann Weding, 4 siblings, Christian and his wife Julie Weding, Hans Weding, Heidi and her husband Todd Wamsher, Franz Weding and Christine “Boo”, his nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
