Yadira Bolaños Ortega, a beloved mother of three, Hannah, Paola, and Ricardo Jr., and a devoted wife to Ricardo Pradillo, passed away on March, 21st 2025 leaving behind a void of love and laughter. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28, at the Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia Lenexa, KS. An additional visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. with the Funeral Mass following at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 21650 W. 115th Terr. Olathe, KS. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Olathe, KS.
Born Mirador, Ojitlan Oaxaca Mexico, on August 23, 1982, Yadira’s infectious laughter and quick wit were a constant source of joy for those around her. She cherished the company of her loved ones, always spreading warmth and happiness with her infectious smile and delightful jokes.
For Yadira, cooking was not just a means of sustenance; it was an expression of her love and care. Her passion for cooking knew no bounds, and she would happily prepare meals for anyone, spreading her joy through the delicious aroma of her creations.
Yadira was a true inclusive person, always making an effort to bring everyone together. She possessed an unwavering appreciation for life’s blessings and maintained a positive outlook on every situation. Her remarkable ability to remain calm amidst challenges, especially during her battle with colon cancer, was a testament to her strength and resilience.
Despite her illness, Yadira made the most of her time, ensuring that her life was filled with meaning and purpose. She left an indelible mark on the lives of many, even if she struggled to communicate effectively. Her beautiful smile and culinary talents will forever be cherished by those who knew her and encountered her.

Nacida en Mirador, Ojitlan Oaxaca, México, el 23 de agosto de 1982, su risa contagiosa y su ingenio fueron una fuente constante de alegría para quienes la rodeaban. Apreciaba la compañía de sus seres queridos, siempre transmitiendo calidez y felicidad con su sonrisa contagiosa y sus chistes encantadores.

Su notable capacidad para mantener la calma ante los desafíos, especialmente durante su lucha contra el cáncer, fue testimonio de su fortaleza y resiliencia.
A pesar de su enfermedad, Yadira aprovechó al máximo su tiempo, siempre aprovechandolo al maximo con su familia, Dejó una huella imborrable en la vida de muchos, incluso con dificultades para comunicarse por el ingles que nunca fue impedimento para ella, Su hermosa sonrisa y su pasion por cocinar siempre serán recordados por quienes estuvimos cerca de ella!!!
