Robert (Bob) Harold Miller, Jr. age 82 of Overland Park, KS, passed away peacefully on February 4th 2025. Born in Chicago, IL on September 7th 1942. Bob was in Field Sales all his life, retiring as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a commercial spring company. He was a dedicated family man and was loved by all that knew him. Bob was kind, generous, and very brave, always speaking up for what he believed in and was never afraid to do so. Attended Purdue University; graduated Indiana University, Army Vet; served in Vietnam, Survived DC riots in 1968, every neighbor’s buddy in a pinch, car enthusiast, community activist, Youth Leader at Lovely Lane Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids, IA, and member of Resurrection Overland Park Methodist Church. He was predeceased by daughter Carolyn Miller, and survived by beloved wife Ginny Miller, their two daughters Cathy Miller and Anne Miller Coker, son in-law Damon Coker, grandson Dylan Coker, and his sister Cheryl Miller Bowman and brother Bill Miller. A memorial service will be held at Resurrection Overland Park Methodist Church, 8412 w 95th Street, Overland Park, KS 66212 on Saturday, March 15th, 2025 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Resurrection Overland Park Methodist Church Memorial Garden.
