Mary L. Wiedenmann, 98, Louisburg, KS passed away Wednesday, February 12, at the Olathe Hospice House.  Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. with the Funeral Service following at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25, at the Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia Lenexa, KS.  Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Catholic Charities. 

Mary was born April 29, 1926, in Woodward, lowa, daughter of Camillo and Martina Lauterio. Mary was the youngest of five daughters.

She graduated from Madrid High School in Madrid, lowa. After graduation, Mary attended the TWA Hostess Academy and served as a flight hostess for several years. She married Fred W. Wiedenmann on June 17, 1950, and they lived in the Johnson County, KS area for the majority of their married lives. Mary enjoyed gardening, dancing, playing cards, cooking, sewing, Red Hatter's Club and entertaining. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and husband.

Mary was especially proud of her family and is survived by her three children and their families: Charles (Bill) Wiedenmann, his wife, Vickie and their son, Ben; Anne Meadows, her husband, Carl, and their children, Brent and Michelle, and Christopher Wiedenmann, his wife, Kiz, and their children, Fred, Bob and Bill; and multiple great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
