Marlena K. Cockburn, 79, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025.  She was born June 11, 1945 in Wellsville, KS to Harvey and Ruby (Rhoades) Rew.  Marlena was employed at AT&T for many years.  She loved the lake, playing golf, squirrels, birds and nature in general. 

Marlena was preceded in death by her grandson Kameron B. Smith.  She is survived by her daughter, Dawn and her husband Jeff Smith, loving guide Carol Bliss, grandchildren Devon Root and his wife Cami Root, Taylor Smith and her husband Paul Wolff, Quintin Smith and his wife Hallee Smith, sisters Ruth Ohrazda, Lois McKinney, Beth Crawford, brother Robert Rew, and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
