Sending sympathy and prayers to the Brune family. Pat was our Gym assistant in High School. Always pleasant. She was loved and respected her whole life. Now she is your guardian angel.

Pat was a true servant leader. She supported so many efforts to strengthen her community, and always with care, humility and an eye on the bigger picture. She welcomed me and helped me succeed as a facilitator with Leadership 2000. She invited me to Sunday dinner with the family. I respect and admire all that she brought to this life. Thank you, Pat, you will be remembered and you will be missed. My deepest sympathy to the Bernie family and all those who loved her.

I have known Patty, since I was 5 years old when my family moved to KCK and across from the Brune's. Patty, was my 1st babysitter, followed by Janice and, Marsha. I always loved and admired her very much. I remember watching her lift the hood of her VW and put her bowling balling ball in the FRONT of the car, I was amazed. Patty would load her little sisters in her car to go to the Purple Cow for ice cream and didn't leave without me. She made me feel like I was part of the family. I know that the minute she got to heaven her Father and litter sister Laura Beth (my special friend) were there to welcome her home. I pray for her family still here and know that one day there will be a big softball game in heaven. Love to all the Brune's!

My Aunt Sylvia is my father, Ken McLellan's, elder sister. While Pat was not a blood relative, she was in all aspects Aunt Pat to me. I've known her for as long as I have memories, and her and Sylvia were always amongst my favorite family members to see and hang out with. Pat will be missed, fortunately, I had the opportunity to tell her that in person just last year when she visited us in Texas.
