Mark William Dangl, 71, most recently of Shawnee, KS., died Monday,  September 30, 2024 at the University of Kansas Medical Center.  

He was born August 21, 1953 in Evanston, Ill., to Gloria (Fassen) and J. Robert Dangl.

They preceded him in death, as did a brother, Bobby.

In recent years Mark was a resident of Shawnee Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Shawnee, Ks.  He had previously resided in Overland Park, and before that in the Madison, Wis., and Denver, Colo., areas.   Mark was a ladies hairdresser by trade.   He was a well known and respected colorist, and had also operated his own salon in the Denver area. 

Survivors include a sister, Kathy Haughney of Overland Park, Ks., and nieces, nephews and cousins.

Immediate cremation.  No service.
