Clyde Francis Cole, 88, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024 surrounded by his loving family at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. The visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. with the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 28 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 21650 W. 115th Terrace, Olathe, KS. Family burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, Kansas.

     Clyde was born October 14, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Horace and Vera (Zimmer) Cole. He was a graduate of  Lindblom High School and attended Bradley University.  Clyde met the love of his life, Donna Jean Waleryszak and they were married on February 8, 1958. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Lorraine Renk. Clyde is survived by his wife of 66 years, Donna, 5 children and their spouses, Cheryl and Carlos Kovacs, Jeff and Carole Cole, Scott and Robbin Cole, Brian Cole, Ken and Michele Cole, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. What a wonderful, dear person was Clyde. He will be missed so much by those who loved him. I know that he will enjoy the gifts of Heaven, and will be playing cards with Dick, Wally, and George Clyde will always be with us, in our many fond memories of him.
