Michael J. Monslow, 64, of Kansas City, KS, died Saturday, April 27, 2024 at home surrounded by his family.  Michael “Slow-Baby” was born on May 28, 1959 in Kansas City, Kansas, to Joseph and Genevieve (Elk) Monslow.  Michael received a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice in Criminal Law.  Michael worked at the Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Office for a number of years before becoming a Master Carpenter in Local 1290.  Michael’s hobbies included hunting and fishing and enjoyed rock and roll music.  

Michael is survived by his wife, Valerie Vallejo, sons Jeremy Monslow (Andrea Dunn), Christopher J. Reyes (Angelica Reyes) and daughter Monica J Reyes, 3 sisters (Kathy, Liz and Patti) and a brother (Christopher Monslow), 9 granddaughters, 5 grandsons, 2 great grandsons and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.
