Martin Giebler, II, 59, of Kansas City, KS, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024. Family services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family is grateful to accept donations toward a memorial park bench to be located at Martin's favorite walking park: English Landing in Parkville, MO.
Martin was born August 27, 1964, in Hays, KS, the son of Marvin and Wilma (Werth) Giebler. He was a graduate of Sumner Academy High School and had been a mail handler for the U.S. Postal Service for 33 years, retiring in 2023. Martin was adventurous and enjoyed nature, fast cars, bicycling, weight-lifting and listening to music but, most of all, he enjoyed spending time with and caring for his family.
Martin was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, David and Gerard. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Kim Giebler, his niece and grand-niece, Krystal and Ellianna Giebler and numerous family and friends. Martin will be remembered as a kind, loving son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be deeply missed.
