Gladys Carolyn Lindelof, 85, of Basehor, KS, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024. A celebration of life will be from 5:00-7:00 PM Monday, March 25, at the Holy-Field Winery, 18807 158th Street Basehor, Kansas 66007. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Kansas City Hospice House.

Carolyn was born August 31, 1938, in Kansas City, KS, to Bennie and Grace Tucker and graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1957. Carolyn married Sidney Lindelof in 1962. The couple settled in Basehor and lived there for over 50 years. Carolyn was a member of the Merry Matrons Club and the Union Pacific Old Timers Club. She enjoyed traveling the world and visiting the lake with her family and friends. Knitting hats for people in need was a passion for Carolyn. She also loved gardening, bowling, and playing card games with her friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Sidney, daughter Julie Wilson, and granddaughter Melissa Wilson. Carolyn is survived by her two sons and their spouses, Brian and Dana Lindelof and Kyle and Jennifer Lindelof; grandchildren Abbey and her husband Keenan Leaming, Steven Wilson, Keirsten Lindelof, Dalton Lindelof, and Carson Lindelof; and two great-grandchildren, Attycus Leaming and Scarlytt Leaming.
