Sweet Adeline sister and Friend ,Lee's Summit ,Missouri

Please accept my condolences on Annette's passing. She will be missed in our active chorus, but she has now joined many of our dear Sweet Adeline sisters in the heavenly chorus. Her voice will blend beautifully there, and the songs from that chorus will forever resonate in our hearts. In harmony, Jeffi!

massage therapist ,Kansas City ,Missouri

To Annette's family, I got to know Annette while giving her massages these past few years. I enjoyed listening to her brilliant stories from her life. I had just texted her to see how she was doing as I knew she had cancer. Take care, Julie Dreesman

Margaret and Family, sorry about the passing of your Mom. She was a unique lady who always had a hello and a smile to offer when you saw her at church.

Tutor ,Mission Hills ,Kansas

Annette was my chemistry tutor and helped me get my grade up from failing to passing. I had never struggled more with a class ever and she completely lifted my confidence and motivated me to try. Not only did she tutor me, but we formed a meaningful friendship as she was at my house almost everyday from early April to late may, and helped me with math this school year. While with her she told me all her amazing life stories and adventures throughout her life. She one day even brought old photo albums and her yearbook and told me all about her high school years and just about all the great people who touched her life. She had such a big heart and was always sending sweet texts before I would take a test or just to catch up. I met Annette thinking she would just be a chemistry tutor, but she became a dear friend, role model, and someone who I will always remember. I send all my prayers to her family and friends and I am so sorry.

College roommate/ friend ,Kettering ,Ohio

My sincere/ heartfelt sympathy to Annette’s children & grandchildren, on her passing. We were College roommates and many people referred to us as sisters because e did so many activities together. We both marched for the Flyers games. Annette played the glockenspiel in the Marching Band, the piano & organ in the Immaculate Conception Chapel Choir and in the Christmas Choir. We graduated from UD in 1966 and Annette began her teaching career at St Joseph’s Commercial HS. Annette returned to UD to lead the Homecoming Parade and become a Golden Flyer in 2016. She stayed with me on her last roadtrip to Ohio in December 2022. Even when she was very sick from cancer, Annette remained devoted to her Church, her math students, music and genealogy. She once confided that when an early relative to America was hung as a horse thief; she considered giving up the genealogy. May Annette share in the Glory of our Creator until we are together again!
