Jan 17, 1959---Jan 07, 2024

Samuel John Coniglio Jr. passed away on January 7th, 2024, at the age of 64.  He is survived by his brother Paul Coniglio (Helen) and Sister Theresa Miles (Bob).  He is now joyfully in heaven ready to experience a well-earned eternal existence with his parents Sam and Anne, Sister Patricia Cahill and Niece Cathy Crockett.

Sam had a strong Catholic faith and loved spending time with his family and friends.  He spent most of his life taking care of his mother and father.  After their passing he enjoyed time with his sisters and all his nieces and nephews, watching Kansas State University sports and Chiefs Games.

Sam was born and raised in Kansas City, KS and graduated from Wyandotte High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kansas State University, a Master of Information Systems from the Keller Graduate School of Management and an Associates of Arts in Business Administration at Kansas City Community College.  Sam was an experienced supervisor with years of experience in customer service and call center management. He had strengths in organization, resource management, training, materials design, computer skills, problem solving, and project management.  He worked many years for Synchrony Financial Center until retirement in 2023.

He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.  He was known for his funny sarcasm and humor.

Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 AM with the Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 AM Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Cathedral of St. Peter, 416 North 14th Street, Kansas City, KS with graveside services at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Uncle Butchie I am so sad to know I can’t be there to celebrate your life but I can tell you that growing up weekends at the lake with all the cousins and family running around are memories I will forever cherish. You always had something funny to say and a smile on your face, always there for anyone and anything. You will be missed so much, thank you for everything Butchie ??

Butchie, I don’t know where to begin. I am so sorry I have stayed away so long and not kept in touch. So many great memories. Celebrating your life with all of the family today reminded me of smiles, fun, hugs and laughter. Comfort comes from knowing that Cathy, Grandma and Poppe met you at the gate and you all are with Jesus. Till we meet again…..love you!
