Charlotte Vaughn Nowicki was born August 8, 2023.  She is the beautiful daughter of loving parents Megan and Tyler Nowicki of Shawnee, KS and the sweetest little sister to her big brother Theodore (“Theo”).

She passed peacefully in her sleep in the early hours of December 26, 2023.  She had just celebrated her first Christmas with her family, sharing her sweet smiles with everyone and receiving much love from all.

In addition to her parents, big brother Theo, and beloved family dog Keelo, Charlotte is survived by her paternal grandparents Deborah and Richard Nowicki of Spring Hill, KS; paternal great-grandmother Lucy Gorder of New Port Richey, FL; maternal grandparents Timothy and Alesia McAnany of Shawnee, KS; maternal grandparents Allison and George Papp of Playa Coronado, Panama; maternal great-grandmother Maureen Williams Owen of Shawnee, KS; maternal great-grandparents Jerry and Kathy Owen of Kansas City, MO; Aunt Jennifer Nowicki and cousin Parker Rousselo of Lenexa, KS; Aunt Jayme and Uncle Adam Rayne and cousins Kinsley and Lincoln of Louisburg, KS; Uncle Logan McAnany of Albuquerque, NM; Aunt Elise and Uncle Nick Koch and cousins Raeghan and Ryleigh of Bonner Springs, KS; Uncle Luke and Aunt Janelle Papp and cousins Emma and Declan of Decatur, TX; Uncle Dane Papp of Spring Hill, TN; and many other relatives and friends who loved Charlotte very much.

Charlotte’s beautiful smile would just melt your heart, bringing such joy and happiness.  Her big brother Theo could get his little sister to smile by simply looking at her or by giving her a sweet kiss – their love for each other was precious.

One of Charlotte’s favorite things to do was to be held close by her family and eventually fall asleep in their arms.  She also loved to be held up high in the air…then back down…then back up…then down…again and again until your arms ached!  What a privilege it was to make her smile.

Charlotte touched many lives in her short 4 ½ months on earth and will be greatly missed by all.

A private family service will be held December 29, 2023.
