Ronald L. Meyer, Sr., 84, of Prairie Village, KS, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023. Visitation will be from 9-10:00 AM followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM Thursday, December 7,  at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 5250 Mission Road, Roeland Park, KS.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Agnes Catholic Church.

Ron was born December 9, 1938, in Kansas City,  MO to Leo and Hazel (Britton) Meyer.  He was employed at Griffin Wheel, Rigby Printing and Commercial Lithographing Company.  Ron was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, a past member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kansas City, KS, the Lake of the Ozarks Corvette Club. Ron loved the Lake house, spending time with the family boating, 4 wheeling, fishing, enjoying the outdoors.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Laverne Lyle and Mary Kay Blocher.  Ron is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carolyn A. Meyer, three sons, Mark (Allison), Shawnee, KS, Rick (Susan), Lenexa, KS, Ronald L. "RL" Meyer, Jr., Prairie Village, KS, four grandchildren, Nicholas (Samantha), Kelsey (Rob), Courtney (Edward), Erin (Spenser), nine great grandchildren, Andie, Riese, Logan, Leighton, Lainey, Cameron, Everett, Graham, Arthur, sister, Marlene Sachen and many extended family members and friends.
