Kathy Aecha Yoo (68) of Overland Park passed away on November 22, 2023 surrounded by loving family. 

Kathy was born October 21, 1955 in Seoul, South Korea. She immigrated to Kansas in 1974. She was known for her selflessness, love of music, wonderful laugh and warmth towards animals, especially her dogs: Lucky, Winston, Milly, and Otis; as well as her cat Yaong. 

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Chi Sang Yoo, son Robert Yoo, daughter Vena Yoo, daughter-in-law Angie Yoo, son-in-law Harlen Magnie. She has 3 grandchildren Noelle, Daisy, and Mary.
