Susie was born on January 22nd, 1961 in Fort Riley, KS, to William and Nyla Enos. She was raised in Kansas City, MO with her three siblings. Susie graduated from Southwest High School in 1979 and went on to attended Southwest Missouri State until having to move back home due to a lupus diagnosis. As her children grew, Susie spent a lot of time at their sports practices and games being their biggest cheerleader. Over holidays, summer breaks, and even weekends, you could often find Susie and her family traveling along I-35 to see relatives and friends in Kansas City.

Susie spent over 10 years as a new born hearing screener at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Grapevine, TX, retiring less than 3 years ago. Susie was a dedicated and selfless wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Sarah, and her in-laws Bill and Martha Rooney. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Mike Rooney; their two children, Jeff Rooney and wife Kaley of Fort Sill, OK; Megan Woods and husband Logan of Edmond, OK; two grandchildren, Jack and Rachel Rooney of Fort Sill, OK.
