Beverly J. Hays, 89, of Kansas City, KS, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023.  Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 AM followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM, Monday, September 18, 2023 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1086 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS.  Burial in Mt. Muncie Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.  

Beverly was born April 27, 1934 in Kansas City, KS to Clarence and Katherine (Matson) Bosley.  She married Joseph Hays on June 28, 1958.  Beverly was the billing clerk for Gruendel, Rice and Gilhousen Orthopedics. She was a former member of Christ the King Catholic Church, it's Altar Society, Flower Circle,  Banner Committee, and PTO.  Beverly is a current member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.  Beverly worked tirelessly raising her family and running the house.  They were her top priority and that extended to her grandchildren, she enjoyed attending all of their events and spending time at the lake house.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Joe in 2015.  She is survived by 6 children;  Patrick (Andrea) Hays, Austin, TX, Timothy (Lisa) Hays, Kansas City, KS, Kathleen (Bruce) Hicks, Clinton, MO, Michael (Kelli) Hays, Clay Center, KS, Daniel (Andrea) Hays, Kansas City, KS, Thomas (Misty) Hays, Kansas City, KS, sister Brenda Gorder, Cheyenne, WY, 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.  Beverly's family would like to thank the staff at The Piper and Faith Hospice for the kindness and wonderful care.
