Cynthia Joy Berger (Reiff), age 58 of Overland Park, Kansas died unexpectedly on August 8th, 2023. She was born in Alexandria, Virginia to Doug and Joyce Reiff on November 10th, 1964. She was a loving wife to Tom Berger, mother to Abby, Carey and Tommy, and grandmother to Olivia.
Cindy grew up living in several states – Virginia, Colorado, California, and North Carolina. As a child, Cindy and her family embarked on numerous adventures as a family going skiing, camping, and cross-country travel. Her smile and love for her family were unmatched. Cindy loved the beach, the pool, shopping, watching Hallmark, and especially loved spending time with her kids and granddaughter. Cindy also loved to entertain family and friends at their home whether it be a birthday party or a Chiefs game. Cindy graduated from Webster University with a Marketing degree and enjoyed a rewarding 30-year career in pharmaceutical sales.
Cindy is preceded in death by her daughter Carey Berger and her brother Brian Reiff. Cindy is survived by her husband Tom Berger, her son Tommy Berger, her daughter Abby (Berger) Pavlisin, husband Mike Pavlisin and daughter Olivia Pavlisin, her parents Doug and Joyce Reiff, and her siblings Jody Reiff and Robbin Kramer.
A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held at Christ Church Anglican at 5500 W 91st St, Overland Park, KS 66207 (91st and Nall Avenue) on Thursday, August 17th, 2023. Visitation will be held at 9:30am and the Memorial Service at 11:00am. The service will be followed immediately by a burial in the church’s garden.
