I will miss visiting her in Kansas City, and spending time with her and my cousins and family in Kansas City. I know she’s in heaven looking over all of us. She is with Uncle Don and Mom, playing cards and keeping score. I will miss her so much.

My condolences are sent to you, and your family. Joan was a beautiful person, I was so happy to get to work with her. When I first met her I was nervous that she wouldn't like me, but she taught me how to care for someone so deeply. after some time me and her got along like two pees in a pod. Joan has a heart that’s bigger than anyone I’ve ever known. I am so happy that she is at peace now. Thank you Hopson family for being so welcoming. I’ll remember Joan forever, she will always hold a special place in my heart.

My condolences to all the Hopson family. I worked with Don for many years at the MKC center. We were close and enjoyed visiting and working together in the training department. We attended several of the Hopson children's weddings and have always considered the family great friends. Ed Boeger
