Duane E. Duncan, 95, of Lenexa, KS, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023.  Visitation will be from 2:30-3:00 PM followed by a Memorial Services at 3:00 PM Tuesday, May 30, at the Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa, KS.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Community Christian Academy.

Duane was born January 5, 1928, in Linwood, KS to Edgar Herbert and Nellie Marie (Hovey) Duncan.  He served in the United States Army and was a Veteran of the Korean War.  He was a longtime member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God.  Duane retired from the Kansas Turnpike Authority on December 14, 1989.  He was preceded in death by his wife Hazel Duncan, son Gary Hand, Sr., daughter Diane Geib, and his sister Donna Edgin.  He is survived by his four grandchildren; Terri Troncin and her husband Shane, Scott Wyss and his wife Joanne, Gary Hand, Jr. and his wife Tina Westwood, Julie Barber and her husband Mitch, seven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and extended family.
