Terry Sam Christman, 78, of Leavenworth KS. died May 12,2023. Terry passed away at Advent Health in Shawnee Mission KS, after a long battle with Alzheimer.

Terry was born in Seattle, Washington on June 21, 1944, to Gene Thompson Christman and Lurae Mae (Nicholson) Bushey.He enlisted in the U.S. Army on June 29, 1971 and served one term in the Vietnam War, where he received the Silver Star, Bronze Star, and Purple Heart medals. In his free time Terry loved to read, collect comic books and research his family’s tree.

He was preceded in death by his parents and leaves behind to mourn his death a one sister, Ann Moore (Wayne), Covington Washington, one brother David Christman, Republic WA, and two step siblings Linda and Larry Tyler. Terry also leaves behind four children, Tammy Mohiswarnath (Doodnauth) of Lake Stevens WA, Kimberlee Hinson (Steve) of Prattville AL, Michael Christman (Susan) of Leavenworth KS, Matthew Christman of Fort Benning GA, and one stepdaughter Sun He Michaux of Las Vegas NV. 10 grandchildren, Nathan Christman, Kyle Christman (Kayla), Nickole Gafford (Bryan), Philippe Martel (Wanda), Megan Jacobson (Elias), Isaac Mohiswarnath (Kaylee), Eric Mohiswarnath, Chloe Christman, Christopher Michaux, and Angelica Michaux, along with 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
