William “Bill” A. Shultz passed away February 26, 2023, at Olathe Hospice House after a brief illness. He was born February 27, 1929, in Kansas City, KS to Arthur and Beatrice Shultz. He was a longtime member of the former Oakland Park Baptist Church, where on May 18, 1948, he married his beloved bride of 74 years, Miss Jacquelene Booth. They were recent members of First Baptist Church of Olathe. In 1992, he retired as an Electrician from Delco Battery.

He leaves behind his wife, Jacquelene Shultz, his daughter-in-law, Nancy Shultz, 2 granddaughters, Paula Hernandez and Michelle Heldenbrand, 8 great grandchildren, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Jo Booth, and several nieces and nephews.   Bill was preceded in death by his parents, both his sisters, and his son, David L. Shultz. 

Visitation will be from 10-11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, Friday March 3, 2023 at Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia St., Lenexa, KS. Burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Kansas City, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to Olathe Hospice House.
