     Joe F. Ventura, 90, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022.  Visitation will be begin at 9:30 am, Rosary at 10:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM Tuesday, November 29,  at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1086 N. 94th St., Kansas City,KS.  Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

     Joe born February 24, 1932, in Kansas City, KS to George and Fannie (Krenzky) Ventura.  He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Army.  After the military, Joe worked at the US Postal Service for 36 years as a Rural Mail Carrier and a Union Steward.  Joe was a lifelong KU Athletic Fan.  Joe was a past member of Christ the King Catholic Church and member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Earl Ventura and great grandson Blip Broom.  Joe is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marguerite Ventura, son Joseph F. Ventura, Jr. and his wife Anastasia, grandchildren John and his wife Hayley Ventura, Victoria and her husband Alexander Lyman and great grandson Clarkson Lyman, Veronica Ventura, Valarie and her husband Morgan Broom, Samuel Ventura and extended family.
