Helen was born in Kansas City, KS on 11 March 1923 to Agnes (Gustafson) and Arthur Caulk. She graduated from Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, KS. She was married to Thomas Gardner for 35 years. She was a long-time employee of the A & P Tea Company as a comptroller and an avid bowler.

Survivors include sons, Patrick Gardner and wife Marcia of Lake Ozark, MO and James Gardner and wife Beth of Grandview, MO, three grandchildren Kelsee, Jacob and Daniel, niece Sharon Vinson and grandniece Patricia Dale and husband Michael.

Sorry for you loss, you are so lucky to have had her for so many years. We always felt she was a part of our family also. I always enjoyed her when we visited at the Housing Authority. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. She will be missed, Steve and Melinda Linnell

My sincere condolences go out to you and your family. I’m grateful for being able to get to know your mother, and I’m comforted in the knowledge that there are many other people who felt and remember her amazing influence. I always had fond memories of her during the holidays at the get togethers. I was with Sharon when we visited her 5 or 6 years ago and to my surprise she had not seemed to have changed. I pray for Gods peace for you all.
