Ronald R. Miller, 74, of Olathe, KS, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022.  Visitation will be from 1:30-2:30 PM followed by a Funeral Mass at 2:30 PM Friday, September 16, at St. Paul Catholic Church,  21650 West 115th Street, Olathe, KS 66061.  Graveside Service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Milan, MO.

     Ron was born July 15, 1948, in Des Moines, IA to Louis John and Ida Marcella (Tracy) Miller.. He retired from Smurfit Stone Container in 2006 after 30 years as an Accountant.  He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.  With cheerful good humor and a positive attitude Ron loved helping his family and spending time with them.  In later life he enjoyed bicycling,  motorcycling, driving his Corvette, and a wide range of construction projects including a sailboat, home built airplane, cedar chests and beautiful chess boards and sets. Ron was an inspiration to everyone he met who heard him say, "I'm fine, It's fine, everything's fine."

  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Linda (Christy) Miller and Susan (Hendrickson) Miller.   Ron is survived by his children Brian Miller, Beth (Ryan) Brennan, Christy (Jason) Jespersen, Jeff (Jen) Grimes, grandchildren Baylor, Kelsey, Owen, Elliana, Cain, Coryn, brother Louis Miller, sisters Joy (Steve) Worcester, Penelope (Frank) Cadigan and many extended family and friends.

So very sorry to hear that our Uncle Ron has passed from this earth to his heavenly one. He enjoyed coming to Nebraska and driving the bulldozer which was on his bucket list. He was always so helpful to everyone including my kids thru the years and we all thought he was SPECIAL. now he is with those he loved. We shall miss his humor for sure!

When I think of Ron he puts a smile on my face. I will miss him, he was one of the kindest men, he never had a unkind word to say to anyone or about anyone. We worked at Smurfit Stone together and both have been retired a long time. I was blessed to keep up with him on Facebook because his daughter was a good friend of my niece so I was privileged to see him with his grand children,etc. I am sorry for your loss.
