Flona, I am Susan Davis Jensen your babysitter while you lived in Oakland. You are in my prayers for comfort. I too have lost my husband of 54 years this past year. You have a new road ahead of you. I know that God will guide you during these hard times. You had spunk as a young child, so I imagine you still do. God Bless you.

Dear Family and Friends: Our hearts go out to you and your family with the loss of your dear loved one. There are no words to take away sadness when you lose someone you love. In our time of deepest need the tenderness of God is a refuge like no other. He alone understands our sorrows and draws near in love to wipe away our tears. When my mother passed away, we found the resurrection hope very comforting. May the resurrection hope sustain you. A loved one lost can grieve the heart, and makes us yearn for tomorrow, when Jehovah will keep the promise he made of no pain, no death, no sorrow found at Revelation 21:4.

Dear Fiona and family, We were sad to hear of Rick’s passing. I (Marilyn) worked with him on the Property Management Team. One Saturday, I saw him at the church trying to clean up the courtyard area on a really cold blustery day. I told him that he worked too hard. He was a great guy and so helpful. He will be greatly missed. He was a faithful member of the congregation and an inspiration to everyone. Marilyn and Terry Jordan
