Aug 02, 1935---Jul 23, 2022

Alice Jane Miroslaw, of Bonner Springs, KS, died Saturday, July 23, 2022. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 10:30AM at the Cathedral of St. Peter, 416 North 14th Street, Kansas City Kansas. Visitation will be at 9:30AM prior to Mass.

Jane (don’t call me Alice) was born on August 2, 1935, in Kansas City, MO.  She was married for 60 years to her beloved husband Stan. Jane was a remarkable mother to her five children. She provided love and support to them as well as her extended family and friends, thus becoming a maternal figure to all. She was a businesswoman who operated a towing company for more than 40 years.

Jane was preceded in death by her loving husband, her parents, her sister, and one granddaughter.

Jane is survived by her five children:  Linda (Tom) Gilligan, Lisa (Corey Hamilton) Miroslaw, Lori Miroslaw, Leanne Miroslaw Clayton, and Michael Miroslaw (Niki), 12 grandchildren; one great granddaughter and a soon-to-be born great grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to your favorite charity or the Cathedral of St. Peter parish.

The memories that you shared with me and my Mother I have always carried in my heart so deep and ever so sincerely. I was so honored to babysit everyone of your and Uncle Stas’ children…my cousins. Our many trips driving to Daytona Beach FL. I have always treasured. So many times I would call you my”Best Friend” instead of my Aunt. After my mother passed away we both decided that we would meet ever week for lunch and just share with one another happy memories of all the years we shared together. Your passing gave my heart such sadness but with time all the silly laughs we shared about Politics will return that smile and Sincere Love you gave to me always. Thank you for All the Love that you instilled in my Heart and that of my very own Family. RIP Aunt Jane AMEN 🙏❤️🙏❤️ I am now the oldest person in both of my sides of our family. Thank you for teaching me how to go forward and not look back. ❤️🙏

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Jane will be sorely missed. We loved sitting with her at German Club activities. She was feisty with such a great sense of humor. I will be sure to play a slot machine in her honor the next time we go.
