Glenna E. Baird Fuller, age 94, passed away on June 14, 2022. She was born May 28, 1928, to Harry and Pearl (Wylie) Baird in Wayne, NE and was raised on a farm in rural Wayne County, NE. Glenna moved with her mother and her six siblings to Kansas City, KS when she was a teenager and graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1946. She and Clinton L. Fuller, Jr. married on April 3, 1948, and they made their home together in Wyandotte County for over 50 years. The couple raised four children and enjoyed square dancing with the Merry Mixers, playing bridge, and traveling. Early in their marriage, they were members of Quayle Methodist Church, where they made lifelong friends with several other couples. They were later members of Grandview United Methodist Church and Trinity United Methodist Church. Glenna was always active in church in a variety of roles. She worked as a secretary for U.S.D. 500, spending most of her tenure at Washington High School until her retirement in 1993. After her retirement, she volunteered regularly at Providence Hospital. Clint passed away in 2000, and Glenna moved to Lakeview Village in Lenexa, KS in 2002. While at Lakeview, she was active on the Residents Council and volunteered in numerous capacities, including working in the library and the Care Center. She liked to keep busy, so making time for volunteering, spending time with family, and socializing with friends were priorities for her. She enjoyed a brisk walk and had a regular walking routine around the Lakeview property as long as she was able. She was the much-loved matriarch of her extended family as well. All who met her were impacted by her friendly nature and her boundless energy.

Glenna was preceded in death by her husband, Clint, and her son, Dan, as well as her six siblings. She is survived by her son Mike and wife Kim, her daughter Cindy Batliner and husband Gary, her daughter Jayne Hunter and husband Barry, and her daughter-in-law Donna Clark Fuller. Also surviving her are her grandchildren, Sara Klinkenborg (Sam), Gary Batliner, Jr., Kevin Faddis (Julie), Andrew Fuller (Krista), Eric Batliner, Aaron Batliner, Erin Hunter, Landon Hunter (Jessica), and Jenna Hunter as well as her great-grandchildren, Spencer Meis, Emerald Batliner, and Benjamin Faddis, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at the Heritage Activity Room of Lakeview Village, Lenexa, KS. Lakeview strongly recommends face masks while on their campus and Covid testing prior to attending.
