I loved Julie. She always gave me wonderful advice when I was having health problems. She was in my water exercise class for many years and we shared many laughs. After the class disbanded, we met for lunch once a month and could catch up on family and events. I will miss her.

Julie DiGiovanna King was my friend and my classmate. We met 60 years ago in nursing school at St Mary'sHospital. Julie loved being a nurse and she was good at it, from our earliest student days til the end of her long nursing career. She was smart, kind and always a patient advocate. Julie was a loyal friend. We stayed in touch and in recent years, Julie, Kathy (another good nurse) and I met for lunch every few months. I am grateful for the last time we were together when we had Italian sub sandwiches from Jasper's/ Marco Polo deli. Rest in peace, Julie. You will be missed. Condolences to your family.

I always called her Jewels. She was an excellent nurse. She was a great mentor and friend. I know her reunion in heaven with Jim is beautiful.

My dear friend was a roommate of mine in nurses training. She was someone I visited with, had lunch when we could , and shared so many memories together. Between the two of us she was an Italian and me a pollack but even though we were both bull headed we blended together without ever harsh words. I wouldn’t discuss politics with her as she was up on them and me not. She raised two beautiful sons whom she was so proud of all their accomplishments. I will miss her so much in my life. Rest In peace dear friend.
