Oct 14, 1949---Nov 16, 2021

Sue Butler passed away Tuesday, November 16th after a brief battle with cancer.  She left this world surrounded by her loving family.

Sue was born on October 14th, 1949 in Kansas City, Kansas to her adoring parents, William and Doris Yuratovich.  She was a 1967 graduate of Washington High School.  Single handedly, she raised three daughters.  For the love of her family, many times she worked two jobs. She retired from Northland Chest Consultants at the age of 66.

Paving the way to Heaven, her dad Bill Yuratovich proceeded her in death just 18 months ago.  Sue is survived by her mother, Doris Yuratovich, her brother, Jeff Yuratovich (Janet), lifelong companion, Moe Friedl, daughters, Angi Wright, Kelli Lawson (Greg), and April Butler.

She leaves a legacy of beautiful grandchildren, Jordan Taylor (Samantha), Sierra Howell (Blain), Kelsea Lawson, Brooke Eason, Carson Updike and Nick Lawson.

Her blessings didn’t end there, she was a great-grandmother of seven: Boston, Vesta, Aubrey, Robert, Archer, Arianna and Rylan.

We will miss her with every beat of our hearts.

A special thanks to the tremendous and compassionate care she received at KC Hospice.  Donations to KC Hospice in lieu of flowers.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 AM with a Funeral Service following at 10:30 AM Monday, November 22, 2021 at the Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia Street, Lenexa, KS.

I wish I could be there for everyone to hug them. Your Mom/Grandma was a sister always. We had such good times and many times she was my confident. She had a sweet heart but she was fierce in defending her girls. I wish I had spent more time with her. My warm thoughts to all her family and hugs to my nieces.
