I first met Dr Heurter when I was in my orthodontic residency. He was an excellent instructor and gave freely of his time and expertise. He was willing to go that extra mile to make sure we understood Tweed philosophy. After completion of my residency, he welcomed me as a member in the Tweed Study Club. I will always remember his warm friendly attitude.

Dr. Jerry hired me at 23y/o with no experience. He gave me an opportunity and a foundation for my career in healthcare. He was compassionate, stern, had a sense of humor, and was my mentor. He will be dearly missed by family, friends and a Wyandotte community. He truely cared about creating the most beautiful smiles.

What a devoted husband, father, grandfather and member of his community. I'm know Kansas City was a better place for having him in it. His life and purpose are exemplified by his loving wife of 62 years and five children and all his grandchildren. Deepest sympathies for your loss. The Caskey's - Sherman Tx.

My adult children have worn beautiful smiles because of this man! I was fortunate to have him care for my children and later in my life he was a referring doctor to our practice when I worked for Dr. Larry Evans. We all had a very close relationship as we cared for each other's patients! He will be truly missed! Thanks for the memories! Rest in peace!

Dear Jody, Alison recently told me about the passing of Jerry. I was so sorry to hear. I wasn't sure of your current address, so am having to use Porters to be in touch with you. We have moved permanently to Tucson, so we are out of the loop on Kansas City news. Jerry was a super orthodontist and just a great guy with a good sense of humor which I enjoyed through our dental events as well. I was one of his patients in the 1970's! Please know that I am thinking of you and your children as you face the holidays without him, but with many good memories of a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Warmest thoughts and prayers for you all. Kay
