Sealey Lamm, Jr., Shawnee, KS passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the Kansas City Hospice House.  Sealey was born in Olathe, KS on July 17, 1936 to Sealey and Geraldine Lamm.  In 1954 he graduated from Olathe High School where he was a proud member of the football team. He then attended Pittsburg State University before embarking on a career in commercial printing.

In 1974 Sealey married Helen Teufler. Together they shared many laughs and wonderful adventures until her passing in 2005.

Sealey spent over 40 years at Richardson Printing, Inc. where he rose to the position of Vice President and was fondly referred to as the Dean of Richardson”. In retirement, Sealey enjoyed traveling, including yearly trips to California to visit family. Fishing trips to Canada were also a major enjoyment for Sealey, and resulted in him bringing home fantastic amounts of fresh fish.

Sealey was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Helen, his parents Sealey and Geraldine, and his sister Minerva.  He will be deeply missed by his loving daughters and their husbands, Gayle and Tom Selby of Lenexa, KS, Marcia and Ronnie Krupich of Shawnee, KS, and Coleen and Tom Clark of San Jose, CA; five grandchildren, Dean, Christopher, Brian, Kinsley, and Joelle; six great-grandchildren, Leah, Cooper, Elena, Parker, Jillian, and Lydia; and four nieces.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, September 10, 2021 at the Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa, KS.  Burial will follow visitation at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Olathe, KS.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Kansas City Hospice House 12000 Wornall Rd., Kansas City, MO.

Sealey was always a strong, but quiet friend, and classmate. I remember him well, as a good friend to all. As most of our class found their way to other places, just like Sealey, we lost track until later in life at reunions. It was always good to see him there. May your family find comfort in knowing he had a good and full life. Now, he is forever in the stars.... Jan Towers
