Floyd "Elmo" Wilson, 63, Kansas City, KS, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021 at his home.   Visitation will be from  4-6 p.m. Friday at the Porter Funeral Home, 1835 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, KS.

     Elmo was born February 2, 1958, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Louis and Arlene (Sixta) Wilson. Elmo was a graduate of Wyandotte High School in 1976. He was a maintenance mechanic for the Millcreek Woods Apartment Complex for over 20 years. Elmo was an avid fisherman and outdoors man. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Wilson. Elmo is survived by his siblings, Mike Wilson, Victoria Bindseil (Steve), Christopher Wilson (Stacey), Timothy Wilson (Janet), Arlene Wilson, sister in law, Elaine Wilson and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

I would like to send my condolences to the family of Elmo Wilson. Just wanted to share a little something about what I remember about him. I went to school with him at West Jr. He was a good friend to me back then, always walking with me in the halls or to the same classes that we had together.
