Perla Blanco Pittenger was born on September 29, 1985 in Chicago, Illinois to Jose Blanco and Aurelia Salgado. Perla loved so many and was loved by so many more. Perla set big goals for herself and always accomplished them; whether that meant stealing her little sisters’ bottles as a baby, or buying her dream car and forever home.
Perla was an individual that radiated joy wherever she went. She was not perfect, but her relentless determination made her the family’s unofficial lawyer and problem solver, and because of this, we are certain that if another family member had passed, she would be the one writing this obituary. That is who she was, and because of who she was, she is unforgettable. We will find her in the smallest moments throughout every day. We have been blessed to have her in our lives and we will never be able to express how fortunate we are to have had the privilege of loving her. We will love and miss her forever.
Perla will be lovingly remembered by her husband Brandon, her step-children Luke, Samuel, and Faith. She will also be forever remembered by her mother Aurelia, her father Jose, her sister Cindy, her beloved nephew Dante, and darling niece Jazmin, and her extensive family. Perla was preceded in death by her sister Erika.
