Rita was possibly one of the funniest people I have ever known. She made me laugh each and every time I saw her. Rita suffered more than her share of loss, and I know that the last years have not been easy ones for her. Heaven just got a lot more fun--and maybe a little louder when she showed up. Rita was one of a kind; I will never forget her. Sending much love and comfort to her sons and their families, as well as the extended Korte and Manning families.

Fr. Mike Hawken gave a superb homily/eulogy! I’m sure as Rita watched from heaven she loved everything he said and was very pleased with the full church. She loved a crowd! She will be missed, but so many people have great stories to share so she will not be forgotten. I love you Rita and I am blessed that you were my friend. Thanks for the memories.
