Lloyd "Shep" Shepherd, 81, Bonner Springs, KS, passed away April 19, 2021, at Merriam Gardens. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. with Funeral Services following at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 23, at the Porter Funeral Home, 1835 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, KS. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Kansas City, KS.

Shep was born February 23, 1940 in Sedalia, MO, the son of Perry and Dorothy Shepherd. He was a Veteran serving in the Army. Shep worked as an assembly man for General Motors for 37 years before retiring. He enjoyed making Stained Glass Tiffany lamps and collecting John Deere memorabilia. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Dorothy Shepherd and his stepfather, Arthur Riley. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carol, daughter, Ronda (Aaron) Christian, two sisters, Virginia Taylor, Esther Brown, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
