Patty and Family- We are so sorry to hear about Bill. He was such a great person and friend to my parents. He was always a great listener and confidant. I wish I had gone to see him more often during this last year, but time gets away from us. He will be so greatly missed. If you need anything, please reach out! -William Slusher

I grew up next door to Mr. Bill. Even though he could give me a hard time, it was all in good fun, and honestly, it was nice that as a kid an adult seemed interested in me and my life who wasn’t family. Who am I kidding, the Davis’ were family. Coming over for cookouts, playing board games on the weekend, and helping me find my cat when the sun would go down. The smell of his pipe tobacco could only mean he was outside enjoying his backyard and reading the paper and it gave me comfort knowing he was nearby. Thank you for being so kind to me and giving me such fun memories. It meant a lot.
