Oh Trent, my heart is breaking. My first nephew, a wonderfully funny and kind human being. You did so much with your life, not just academically but personally with the wonderful family you were a part of. You will be so missed by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing you. Love you and love to your family in their time of loss.

Trent was a genuine good person. Men like Trent are few and far between. I met Trent when I moved to Kansas City in 1998. My life is better for this relationship. My hope and prayers go out to Vicky and the family.

Trent’s condolences I am so grateful to have been blessed to have Trent be my Uncle. I know at almost if not all holidays I would always talk to Uncle Trent. Easter was the last holiday I was blessed to spend with him. He was such an animal person, well with spike their dog, also their cat. I enjoyed hearing his stories from about his college years, to wondering what the weirdest/interesting fish he had ever caught in life!. He told me roostertail fish.! I looked it up and that fish looks like a roostertail. I know he was easy to talk to and never made anyone feel like he didn’t have a lot of time to hear what you wanted to say. He never judged but was understanding. I also enjoyed how everyone would give his Denver Broncos a hard time for losing with Kansas City Chiefs. What I will miss most about Unlce Trent is his smile and laugh how he could light up the entire room of people by just by the radiant energy he would put out. From my standpoint of being very empathic. I could feel that same energy with him. He never had anything negative to say about anyone especially if the person is not doing the best of their issues. Nor did he ever made anyone feel judgmental by life choices, instead he would just give extraheartfelt loving hugs anyone could ever ask for. That’s what I will miss the most with him leaving this world way to soon. I have always looked at anyone that has passed away that their spirit is protecting and watching over loved ones.
