Sep 01, 1948---Aug 28, 2025

Margaret Susan Tiffany neé Tracey (known as Susan or Sue) lost her valiant battle with cancer 4 days before her 77th birthday, the morning of August 28, 2025. She was one of the strongest people her family knew, a hero and safe place for her children & grandchildren. To Susan, her family was always her number one priority. Susan was a fan of college sports, luncheons with her longtime friends from Sprint, going to her grandchildren’s events and her pets. Born in Minnesota, she moved as a young woman with her family to Ft Myers Florida and called that her home. In the mid 80s, her immediate family moved to Kansas City where she enjoyed a promotion and continued her work for the telecommunications company Sprint for 40 years. The oldest of 6 children, she came by her leadership skills naturally. Sue loved traveling, reading, cooking shows, iced tea with no lemon, music and being with loved ones.

She is survived by her children Laura Tiffany, Robyn Self & Douglas Tiffany; her sisters Maureen  Snyder and Bridget Kiefer; her beloved grandchildren Samantha Schenck, JD Schenck, Joelle Self and Anna Self, and her former husband and lifelong best friend Bruce Tiffany. She was preceded in death by her mother and father John and Margaret Tracey, her sister MaryAnn Tracey, and brothers Tom Tracey and Mike Tracey. She is healed and with her loved ones in Heaven.

A Celebration of Life for friends and loved ones in Kansas City will be held in a private room at the Jack Stack Freight House October 22nd 5-8pm

A Funeral Service will be held for family for both Sue and her sister recently passed on Sanibel beach in Florida on November the 8th.

Granddaughter's (Samie) boyfriend ,Kansas City ,Missouri

My sincere condolences to Nana’s family and to everyone whose life she touched. Although I did not know Nana well and only met her a few times, I could always sense her wonderful aura and kindness. It saddens me that I won’t have the chance to get to know such an exceptional woman more deeply—especially someone so important to Samie and me, who helped shape her into the person she is today. I’m grateful for the moments I did share with Nana, like bringing her a Corner Cafe cinnamon roll, and later discovering that she loved them as much as I do. She will be dearly missed.
