Susan Lubratovic Decker, of Olathe, Kansas, went home to be with the Lord on April 27, 2026, at the age of 73. She was a cherished mother, wife, grandmother, and friend, and her presence will be deeply missed. 

Susan was born on May 6th, 1952, to Chuck and Ann Lubratovic in Kansas City.  She spent most of her life in Olathe. 

Her infectious laughter and loving spirit brightened the lives of all who knew her.

Her fiery Serbian energy was the glue that held the family together.  She loved life, she loved the sun, going to the lake, ice cold Coke, shopping, cooking, reading, music, watching the bunnies play in the backyard and the birds eating at her feeders.  She dedicated her life to her family and made the best of every moment!

She was an avid fan of Huey Lewis and the News.  Anytime you hear Huey playing, you’d see the biggest smile on her face and that smile was contagious.

With her husband Al, Susan was an entrepreneur of many businesses.  Her favorite was The Mustache Cup restaurant, which opened in 1980 in Olathe Kansas.  She sold it when she became a grandmother, so she had plenty of time to spoil her grandkids Hannah, Cole, and Ryan. 

She loved spending time at her Cabin at the Lake, that her parents built, and she took her grandchildren there as often as possible.

There are so many beautiful memories and wonderful things to say about Susan that we could never share them all.

She is survived by Al - her husband, Brad and Marci - her children, Hannah, Cole and Ryan - her grandchildren,  and her beautiful dog Lucy.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Overland Park. 9501 W 159th St Overland Park, KS  66221.
