Sally Anne Burdick, 72, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away on May 25, 2026, at Crown Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility in Harrisonville, Missouri. Born in Lincoln, Nebraska, she later lived and worked most of her life in Kansas City.

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Michelle Olds and Kimberly Kelly; her parents, Kenneth and Rosealie; and her siblings, Kenneth, Bonnie, and Shirley.

She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Lemanske (Ray Nunez), Christy Cherry, and Katie McDermott; adoptive sons Alan and Devin Burdick; and her sister, Cora. She is also survived by her grandchildren Michael (Michelle); Jordan and Brock (Kimberly); Taylor, Brett, Junior, and Raelynn (great-granddaughter of Jennifer); Annalyse and Paeton and great-granddaughter Ember Jo (Christy); Marina and Allec, Nathaniel, Levi, and Abigail (Katie); as well as many extended family.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Crown Care for their compassion, kindness, and the wonderful care they showed Sally.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family will share information when arrangements are complete.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Sally’s memory to the National Kidney Foundation.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
