Robert Olen Leslie was born on July 30th, 1944, in Fort Scott, Kansas, to Lee and Cora Leslie.  He passed away peacefully with loved ones by his side on April 18th 2026. He was married to the love of his life, Sue leslie on June 25th, 1966. They were happily married for 59 years, and he is survived by her. They had two sons, Mike and Chris, 3 grandchildren, Caitlin, Luke, and Beau.

Robin, as he was known by family and friends, met Sue as next-door neighbors while they were teenagers and were inseparable ever since. Robin enjoyed traveling, especially day trips to different rural towns with his beloved wife. Most valuable to Robin was family, whether it was a backyard barbecue, a Fourth of July picnic, or a family softball game; he was always at the center of the love and the laughs. Robin was from a family of twelve siblings, so there were always large family gatherings at most holidays, filled with good food and laughter.

Robin worked in retail for his entire life as a grocery store manager and store director at various locations. He was hardworking and dependable, and he became lifelong friends with both coworkers and customers.

Robin was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Cora Leslie, his siblings Carol, Wanda, Danny, Marvin, Randy, and survived by his siblings and their sposues Linda, Roger, Kathy, Leanna, Deanna, Steve, and daughter-in-law Jean Katt and many loved nieces and nephews. As he will always be loved and missed, he is now at peace with our heavenly father.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday from 5 to 7 pm and services on Friday at 10 am.Both will be held at Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa, Kansas
