 Philip Robert Brenneman, Jr.,  of Olathe, KS  passed away February 3rd 2025. He is survived by wife of 53 years,  Rose, sons Philip and Jeffrey, daughter Jill, grandchildren, Blaine and Maddison, and great grandaughter Azara. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 16000 W. 143rd St., Olathe, KS at 10:30 am Monday, February 10th. Phil served his country in Naval Aviation and will be buried with Military Honors at Leavenworth National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Rose and Family, We are so sorry for your loss. Phil was such a great man, and he'll be missed by many. Our fondest memory of Phil was his infinite patience coaching Jill, Robbie and all the Special Olympics athletes on the team. His sense of humor put the Special Olympians at ease and made practice that much more fun.

Our hearts are grieving with you Rose along with the family. You and Phil have been such a part of our lives since Jill & Corey were so young. Living first in the same neighborhood & ending in the same neighborhood at 53yrs married for us all!! Phil & you were so generous of your time to our kids in the Special Olympics. He had such a tender kind heart for them all with his ruff exterior which I'm sure was from being in the Vietnam War. We will never forget the invite to your lake home for many of the special O families & jokingly trying to run Steve over in the lake with the pontoon!! Even after his ALS diagnosis he kept up with funny & spiritual videos that he would send on messenger. I truly know he IS with God and waiting for us all to see him in heaven when we make it there. God fill your hearts with comfort & peace as you navigate life without him. We so love you all, Steve & Julie Kottman & family
