I used to stay with my sister Phyllis Scrivner every summer when school was out. i was 3 years older than Pam. we used to have to walk down to the garden some days to pick tomatoes, cucumers, and onions that Phyllis fixed for our supper. Pam and i were both kind of afraid because we had seen a small snake down there in the garden. it was close to Blue River . since Pam and i were older than Jeanine and Jill we had to do dishes at night. . They had a cat Fluffy that they all loved. it was always fun to stay with them. Jaudon and Phyllis took us once a week to the Tastee Freeze. and once a week would take us to go plug a watermelon to take home. for the whole family. We had lots of good times together. Pam and i used to call each other on our birthdays to talk when we got older. She was a really good daughter to Phyllis and found a good senior home for Phyllis to live in when she needed help. She and her Kids cleaned up Phyllis house so she could sell it and get a good price for Phyllis. to have income to live on. Pam was a really good cook making delicious meals for her Kids. When Pam had to work sometimes nursing Phyllis and Jaudon used to take a whole home cooked meal over to Scottie's and Pam's house to eat for them and the boys to eat on that day. I will miss hearing from my Niece Pam on our birthdays. Linda Bowman

I just learned of the loss of Pam. My deepest condolences to her family. I worked with Pam at Saint Luke’s for years and we became good friends. I looked up to Pam as a mother figure. I looked to her for advice with raising my kids. She always had an encouraging message. She was also a great mentor during my nursing career as I was a new graduate nurse when we met. My prayers are with her family during this difficult time in your lives. Love Lorri Bales RN
