Nancy Martha Ferkenhoff, 86, of Overland Park, KS passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 20, 2025. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 7 at 9:30, followed immediately by mass at 10:30. Services will be at Church of the Holy Cross, 8311 W 93 St, Overland Park, KS.

Nancy was born December 4, 1939 in Wichita, Ks. She was the daughter of John and Martha Laudick. She was married to the love of her life, Mike Ferkenhoff on September 2, 1961.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother, Ed Laudick. She is survived by her two daughters, Mindy (Jeff) Trees, Susan Cook, her brother, Jan (Gaylene) Laudick, and sister Helen Smith. Also, her grandchildren, Meghan, Ryker, Allison, Ashley and Griffin.

Nancy had a full life as a stay-at-home Mom, then buying and running Executive Flowers for 10 years. She then went on to work for Sprint in International Communications for 10 years.

Her passion was her family, her faith, gardening, and playing cards with her friends. She and Mike enjoyed many travels and loved when they included loved ones.

She and Mike were founding members of Holy Cross, where she was very active in the choir, their Social Club, the Sunshine Club, and the ladies Circle Group. They prepared many meals and provided comfort to families in need.

Nancy will be truly missed by so many. We are very grateful that she shared her life with us!
