Nancy Irene Robinson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. Her life was a testament to kindness, faith, and service, and she leaves behind a legacy cherished by all who knew her.
Born and raised in St. Louis Missouri, and the youngest of 8 children, Nancy’s early years were filled with warmth, laughter, and the values of family. She grew up in a nurturing environment where her love of music and compassion for others began to flourish.
During her college years, Nancy met Tommy C. Robinson, the love of her life. Their marriage was a beautiful partnership for 65 years, marked by devotion and mutual respect. Together, they built a life in St. Louis, Chicago, and Lincoln Nebraska. Nancy and Tommy were blessed with two daughters, who became the heart of their family and the joy of their lives.
Nancy’s professional life began with the Lincoln Public Schools, where she worked in the payroll department and had unwavering commitment to excellence for those that she served.
A gifted pianist, Nancy shared her musical talents generously, filling homes and churches with melodies that touched the soul. She was known for her delicious cooking, her laughter, and her deep involvement in church activities. Nancy’s faith was central to her life, guiding her actions and sustaining her through every challenge.
Her sacrificial love, quick wit, and strength were evident to all who knew her. Nancy’s compassion extended beyond her immediate family, reaching friends, neighbors, and countless members of the community.
Nancy was proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Tommy C. Robinson (2023). She leaves behind her 2 daughters; Marsha Luzania (Randy) and Kelly Clem (Paul), Five grandchildren; Cara Fox (Tyler), Kyle Reglin (Jaana), Kevin Reglin (Megan), Kurt Reglin (Christine) and Grant Thompson. 8 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends who will forever treasure her memory.
A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held Friday July 17, 2026, 10:00 AM at Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa Kansas, 66215. Family and friends are invited to honor her and share memories at this special gathering.
