Mary Ann Gibson (Cornish), 95, a cherished aunt/cousin and guiding light to her family, passed away on October 13, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on April 18, 1930 in Kansas City, KS, Mary Ann lived a long and beautiful life bringing a lifetime of joy and laughter to family and friends, she was always the life of the party.

Born and raised in KCK, Mary Ann was a 1948 graduate of Wyandotte HS. She worked many years for the South Western Bell Corporation as a supervisor before retiring. She especially loved taking photos of all the different sunsets from her travels around the world. More than anything she loved her beloved Kansas Jayhawks, Rock Chalk Mary Ann!

Mary Ann is survived by her cousin Tina Paduch, nephews Michael Debus, Scott & wife Laurie Debus along with 6 great nieces & nephews. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband Paul Gibson, father and mother John & Mary Cornish, sister Sandy Teeple (Cornish) & brother-in-law Herb Teeple.

Services for Mary Ann will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 11311 Johnson Dr, Shawnee KS, on Monday October 20th, with visitation beginning at 9:30am, Rosary prayed at 10:10am and Memorial Mass at 10:30 am.
